CREDIT CARD POLICY

  • We Massage Therapy requires ALL patients to have a valid credit card on file in order to book appointments.
  • Credit cards will be added to patient profiles and billing options, but will not be charged at the time of booking.
  • As per cancellation policy and agreement, credit cards will be charged in the event that the patient misses, no-shows or late cancels (less than 24 hours) their appointment
  • In the event that your extended health benefits have reached their maximum, we may ask to charge the remaining fee to your credit card

CANCELLATION/MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

We Massage therapy Clinic requires a 24 hour notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are the amount of the full regular fee for the service booked and cannot be billed to your extended health benefits.

Re-booking will not be possible until this fee is paid.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY:

If possible, please contact us if you may arrive late. Arriving after your appointment time will result in loss of time from your massage. Full service fees for the booked duration will be charged even when session is shortened due to late arrival.

Ariana, Cate, Rhea and Mina are no longer accepting ICBC cases from patients new to the clinic. If you are already seeing one of them for massage therapy, and get into an motor vehicular accident, please consult with them, and they may take you on their case load.

Ariana is certified in Hot Stone Massage Therapy, Ligament Articular Strain Technique, Dermoneuromodulation, advanced joint mobilizations and has special practice with child-bearing persons.

Ariana graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in 2015, and has been practicing massage therapy since November 2015. For as long as she can remember, Ariana has had a desire to help other people. In her years of practice, she has developed special interest pre- and post-natal care, women’s health, paediatric care, TMJ massage and athletic injuries.

Ariana believes mental health through relaxation is imperative to one’s wellness and incorporates both relaxing Swedish massage into her therapeutic treatments plans. She continues to expand her knowledge in relation to women’s health, pain science and sports medicine by attending courses available and reading articles on these subjects.

Vishal is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. During his schooling and time in clinical practice, he gained experience working with a plethora of soft tissue injuries and orthopedic issues, and he is committed to expanding his knowledge. He has worked with a variety of people of all ages and walks of life and has developed a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Vishal will focus on your individual needs and educate you to his best ability, to allow you to get the most benefit from your treatments.

Vishal had a very active upbringing, participating in a multitude of sports at a competitive and recreational level. His experience with athletics and fascination with the human body pushed him into pursuing physiotherapy. However, that path was derailed after a series of car accidents. The accidents triggered musculoskeletal pain that brought on depression and anxiety, and he experienced the profound impact these health concerns had on his day-to-day life. By putting his knowledge of the human body into practice, Vishal was able to rehabilitate his way back into health. He now has even greater empathy for people dealing with physical and mental health challenges.

With over six years of experience as a strength and rehabilitation coach and over two years as a Registered Massage Therapist, Vishal is driven and motivated to aid you in achieving your goals. Rosie approaches massage therapy treatments with a blend of both orthopedic and holistic techniques. Simrat is a WCCMT graduate of 2021 and was chosen by his peers and instructors to be awarded the Joe Koscak Leadership Award for exemplifying integrity, passion, perseverance, a passionate heart and a caring soul. He came to Winnipeg from India in 2014 before finding a home in BC. He spent his time in Winnipeg getting his accounting certificate and working in automotive Industry. Simrat also appeared in Winnipeg free press newspaper for his dedication to give back to community by volunteering and then working as a Downtown Watch Ambassador for The Winnipeg Downtown BIZ who works closely with Winnipeg Police Services.

He has chosen the massage therapy profession to engage community and help people recover from injury. After a sports injury in 2015 Kristie used massage therapy in combination with therapeutic exercise to rehabilitate from pain which helped her discover a new passion in anatomy and health science and persuaded her to go back to school for Massage Therapy.

During her time at WCCMT she attended many in and out reaches including; multiple sclerosis, UBC and Douglas college sports massage, Kinsman lodge for the elderly, BACI for people with disabilities, South Granville Senior centre.
